What is asbestos material sampling?
Asbestos is found in over 5000 different materials, many of these are common building materials used around the home. The image below highlights just some of the areas you can find asbestos.
We carry out sampling of any suspect materials to confirm if they contain asbestos. Our surveyors will come to your property and safely take samples of any materials you suspect to contain asbestos. These samples are analysed at a UKAS accredited laboratory to confirm if they contain asbestos or are asbestos free.
Sample analysis details the asbestos fibre type, this information combined with the surveyors assessment during the survey helps us to determine the asbestos material. We can then provide specific guidance for the most suitable actions to safely manage the asbestos material.
